Emerging (technology for) Learning is an advanced course that prepares senior students to be sensible towards the trends and development of the use of global technology for learning and instruction. Also, the course is to encourage students to differentiate between innovation and emerging technologies as well as their positive impacts on a daily basis. Besides, this course is considerably advantageous and meaningful for students in order to select better topical research for their final assignment (skripsi).
For this semester we will focus our study on personalized learning (PL). So the terminal objective of this course is: you will demonstrate the use of PL as reemerging technology for learning in order to promote better and motivating learning for now and the future. at the end of the semester, in a team, you must be able to conduct a seminar or workshop on a topical seminar on the trends (re-emerging technology) for learning in Indonesia as well as in a global issues related to personalized learning.

The English for Academic Purposes course aims to broaden the knowledge and empower effective and efficient reading and writing skills in the context of academic English at a proficiency level equivalent to CEFR B1+. Students are expected to be able to identify explicit and implicit main ideas and supporting details, compare information from different authors, and verify the validity and reliability of information from various sources to eventually be able to write academic texts in the form of expository essays, argumentative essays, and simple research articles. Learning activities include lectures, analytical reading practices, presentation of reading results, and writing academic texts in order to develop 21st-century skills, which are critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, cultural awareness, good character, and digital literacy.

Materi pembelajaran membaca mencakup pengetahuan dan basic receptive, learning, dan digital literacy skills secara terintegrasi untuk menemukan pesan umum, gagasan pokok, serta informasi rinci dalam teks tulis seperti dalam teks esai naratif, esai deskriptif, esai ekspositori, dan esai argumentatif. Mata kuliah Evaluasi Hasil Belajar adalah salah satu mata kuliah yang dikembangkan untuk memasilitasi para mahasiswa memiliki kompetensi dalam merancang, mengembangkan, dan menguji kualitas alat evaluasi. Namun berbeda dengan mata kuliah lain, mata kuliah ini akan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended learning. Artinya perkuliahan yang akan kita laksanakan ada yang dilakukan secara online, dan ada juga yang dilakukan secara tatap-muka. Oleh karena itu, agar seluruh rangkaian perkuliahan ini dapat berjalan sesuai dengan harapan dan pada akhirnya tujuan perkuliahan dapat tercapai dengan baik, diperlukan kerjasama yang baik dan komitmen yang kuat diantara kita.
