This narrative lays bare how student democracy is shamelessly hijacked by inner circles that operate less like representatives and more like a cartel of convenience. Leadership, in this farce, is not earned through merit, integrity, or vision, but assembled like a cheap product, mass-produced through nepotistic networks and sealed by silent, cowardly deals made behind closed doors.
The process reeks of intellectual laziness and moral bankruptcy. While active, critical, and outspoken students are sidelined, a politically passive figure is suddenly elevated—not because they inspire, but because they obey. Not because they lead, but because they are easy to control. Silence becomes a qualification. Incompetence is reframed as “stability.” Absence of ideas is sold as “neutrality.” It is a mockery of leadership, dressed in the costume of democracy.
These inner circles, intoxicated by their own sense of importance, congratulate themselves in private chats and smoke-filled rooms, mistaking exclusivity for legitimacy. They whisper strategies like cowards afraid of sunlight, knowing full well that transparency would expose the rot at the core of their arrangements. What they fear most is not opposition but questions.
This is not student politics; this is a playground for small-minded power brokers who borrow the worst habits of national politics and rehearse them on campus like amateurs practicing corruption. The result is a hollow election, a puppet leader, and a student body insulted by the sheer audacity of being told this is “representation.”
In the end, this is democracy not defeated by force, but strangled by stupidity, nepotism, and collective hypocrisy. A system where cliques crown leaders, voices are traded for favors, and silence is mistaken for virtue deserves nothing but open ridicule and relentless exposure.
