The colloquium according to Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) is defined as learning activities, which are conducted in the form of seminars to discuss advanced research. The colloquium conducted at the Postgraduate Program at the State University of Jakarta is a research colloquium, namely activities in the form of seminars to convey the results of review / review of articles obtained from primary reading sources in the form of indexed national or international proceedings or journals, or obtained from relevant and latest books with the number at least 30 articles for master and 60 articles for doctoral. The objectives of the colloquium are: 1) student are able to identify and analyze the latest research topics according to the research plan; 2) students are able to determine the novelty and position of research to be carried out (determine research topics among relevant research); 3) student can avoid the potential for plagiarism in writing their final work assignment. Colloquium activities begin with an explanation of the objectives, plan of lecture activities, and colloquium outputs / papers, the urgency of the technique of tracing reading sources and compiling a matrix or bibliographic annotations. The substance in the colloquium corresponds to the research theme based on a review of the literature to produce state of the art and the novelty of research, problem formulation, research objectives and theoretical studies. writing uses the American Psychology Association (APA) format and referencing manager software writing.
