This course is designed to equip students with communication skills in a business context at the CEFR B1 level. With a strategy-based approach and effective and wise use of information and communication technology (ICT), students will practice understanding and producing various types of written and spoken texts that are common in the business world, such as job applications, product information, customer complaints, and communication in meetings. Learning in this course integrates Case-Based Learning (CBL), where students analyze real business case studies to identify problems and formulate relevant solutions. In addition, the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method is applied through group projects, such as product promotion plans and negotiation simulations in meetings, to provide practical experience in applying the concepts that have been learned. With this approach, students not only develop English language skills in a business context, but also improve their critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
