DIGITAL ECONOMICS 2024/Prof Dr. S.I.Ns

This course studies, explains and practices the digital economy, how the digital economy affects markets and society, how the internet, mobile communications, sharing economy, social media, and crypto technology affect global business, with material including: Introduction (economic scope and ecosystem digital, ITC evolution and market evolution), basics of digital economy (economy and digital goods, digital services, digital value models, and digital monopoly), digital market (stakeholders in digital market, e-commerce and e-marketplace , expansion of e-commerce to e-marketplaces, competition-cooperation-coopetition), and digital business (strategic positioning of digital business, digital innovation, digital business models); everything is learned and practiced so that students can start a micro-business through designing a business model canvas project and creating e-commerce (project base learning), as well as financial reports. This course mainly supports the profile of graduates as entrepreneurs.

This lecture will produce a YouTube channel project which contains 22 groups to do "podcasting" until the end of the semester. For this reason, each class will be divided into 11 groups, where each group at the 2nd meeting is required to submit a group name, and at the 3rd meeting it is required to submit a podcast program plan that will be broadcast. Podcast recording will start after UTS
